“Glorified” is a praise tune from Esther Oji, a rising Nigerian gospel singer-songwriter, based on the simple but powerful assertion. She wants to be where God is honored.
Esther Oji has created a loyal fanbase with worship-centered hits including “I Belong” and “Dependable Jesus.” This one carries on that same passionate, congregation-ready style. The song was already hugely anticipated before its release, going viral on TikTok as fans begged her repeatedly to release it publicly after hearing excerpts and live clips.
The production is warm and worship-centered, designed to uphold true surrender, not to compete with it. Nothing here is hurried past the feeling underlying the words. It sounds like true adoration, not a show.
“Glorified” works because Esther Oji goes all hog for that surrendered, religious tone.
