In 2026, “Tika” keeps Niniola busy, with the Nigerian Afro-house sensation releasing the standalone song through Drumroll Records on 25 September, a little more than a month after Without You.
The release comes on the back of the four-track Without You EP, providing Niniola with another solo entry, this time following a project focused on a much more intimate chapter of her life and career.
The track is at 115 BPM, squarely within the rhythmic, dance-facing realm so strongly linked to her music. Her voice is still in the forefront, holding the track up with the assured delivery that has always been a staple of her Afro-house output.
Niniola already has a strong fan base in African dance music and the tune has also been chosen as one of Apple Music’s latest Afrobeats picks. That visibility provides her recent work with a beneficial platform as it makes its way to listeners outside her core audience.
