Nigerian rapper Billion Solar lays down a solid contender with Ches$e, the fourth tune off his compact five-song EP SOLAR DHARMA. It’s a thoughtful expansion of the brief but potent tracklist, scheduled for release in 2026.
Ches$e is close to the end of the project and is an important piece that connects the thematic and musical ideas that have already been explored to what is to come. The track’s location among the album’s five overall tracks emphasizes its planned construction that guides the album’s narrative flow.
Billion Solar’s approach to this body of work stresses the project as a whole instead of standalone singles. This process ensures that every track, even Ches$, is essential to the overall experience that is developed across SOLAR DHARMA.”
