Rwandan children’s music and dance collective MORIOX KIDS are gaining renewed recognition with “Alone,” a recent release that is beginning to move beyond their domestic audience.
The song talks about their involvement in musical activities under the MORIOX KIDS umbrella, extending an already recognized creative platform that has been known for dance shows, covers, and youth-oriented material that features the skills of children in Rwanda.
“Alone” is a bit short at just over a minute. It is short, in the sense that the format is brief, which provides the record little opportunity for superfluous excursions and keeps the presentation direct.
Its first effect is already measurable. The tune has made it onto Shazam charts in Nigeria and Cameroon, exposing MORIOX KIDS to audiences far beyond Rwanda and exhibiting signals of wider African discovery.
“Alone” is now available on all major digital streaming platforms. Listen to the track and tell us what you think of it in the comments below.
