On A Street Kid’s Diary (Disc 2), TML Vibez brings together three of Nigeria’s fast-rising Afrobeats voices, Ayo Maff and Shoday, on “Shuperu.”
The collaboration occurs at a busy time for all three artists, especially Ayo Maff and Shoday, who both have kept up noticeable release runs through 2026. Their appearance brings to TML Vibez a mix of voices that are very much associated with the newer generation that is developing Nigerian Afropop and street pop.
7eentrill handles production, creating an Afrobeats backdrop that can comfortably contain three separate vocal personas without making the record sound overwhelmed. Each performer is given ample space to make their contribution register.
The lineup provides the single obvious crossover appeal, linking fans already following the individual development of TML Vibez, Ayo Maff and Shoday. It’s one of the more obvious record collaborations that could really go beyond the album itself.
The record is out on major digital streaming platforms. Check out the three-way collab and let us know what you think in the comments below.
