“Eyes On Me” is the opening track of A Street Kid’s journal (Disc 2), a 16-track follow-up that builds on the journal idea the Nigerian artist TML Vibez launched in 2025.
In the former, TML Vibez carries the opening solo instead of starting the project with a guest appearance, allowing his own delivery to set the tone before the album makes its way into its subsequent collaborations and stylistic alterations.
Ballertosh is credited as the song producer, with Gbemi Blessing Tamara and Esther Ekpendu as additional background vocalists. That combination offers the opener greater vocal depth but keeps TML Vibez firmly in the forefront.
Placement is key as the album drops amid one of his busiest years to date, following charting singles such as “Hello” and “SHON PE (Count Your Money)”. Embarking on the endeavor by himself just serves to emphasize how much of the larger rollout depends on his voice.
