Nigerian singer WurlD continues his 2026 musical activities with “Da Da”, a new tune that follows a period of experimentation with Afrosoul and electronic dance music after his September release.
His last single “You and I” was released in three versions including acoustic and a capella recordings with more emphasis on his vocals and songwriting. The release was a reflection of his passion in presenting familiar musical ideas in various arrangements.
His 2025 project, Metal Hearts, delved into electronic music, with influences of Afro-house, amapiano and other dance sounds. His R&B and Afrosoul roots are still a vital aspect of his artistic identity, allowing him to switch between different musical styles.
WurlD has found a unique space in Nigerian music because of his winning formula with producer Sarz. His determination to challenge the boundaries of traditional Afrobeats has created a listening audience that are intrigued by his developing sound, giving him a loyal fan base for this current album.
The song is accessible on all major digital streaming platforms. Listen and let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
