Nigerian singer boyBlandi has officially released “Collect,” an October 2026 Afrobeats tune, after teasing the launch on social media. “Collect” is out now via OceanStreet, Hulivo, and Bridge.
His two-track project Que Sera Sera/Mercy dropped in June. Ahead of the new track, boyBlandi has been teasing his followers with clips, encouraging his fans to stay tuned for the music and hype up the release.
Musically, it’s a solid Afrobeats record, the genre that has been the hallmark of much of his work to date. His early work incorporates Yoruba, Nigerian Pidgin and English, and the “Afro Soothe” persona he describes himself as is proof of the melodic path he’s been taking as a musician.
BoyBlandi was introduced to a bigger audience earlier in 2026 with “JEJE II” featuring Ayo Maff. With that acknowledgment, his latest single has come at a promising juncture in his career as he strives to build a more solid foothold in the Nigerian music scene.
The music is streaming on all major digital platforms. Have a look and tell us what you think in the comments below.
