Nigerian gospel artist John Fadejola releases worship tune “You Are Worthy” in October under his independent music imprint, continuing his 2026 recording efforts.
After his September release, “We Lift You High”, the song continues to focus strongly on worshiping and honoring God. The title is a familiar Christian statement of God’s worthiness, and sits comfortably with the worship-centred direction of his recent music.
Fadejola has dabbled in Afro-fusion and modern gospel sounds throughout his career, but this one is squarely in the gospel music genre. It also appears separately from his 14-track album THE MANDATE, which dropped in July,
Interestingly, the song has already enjoyed some play after Audiomack Gospel featured it on its curated Best of the Week: Inspirational playlist. That early positioning gives more exposure as Fadejola continues to reach listeners interested in modern African gospel music.
The song is accessible on all major digital streaming platforms. Listen and tell me what you think in the comments below.
