Nigerian musician Promphizy is back with another single titled “Good Times,” dropping on October 14, 2026. The single comes after a string of recent Afrobeats recordings.
In the lead-up to the release, Promphizy posted a statement about hope for better days, adding a meaningful perspective to the song’s advertising. This followed his July project Lagos Story / IG Girls, in partnership with DJ Power, and he continued his musical pursuits throughout the year.
Promphizy has built his sound around Afrobeats and Afrosounds, integrating modern African pop influences with beautiful lyrics. His discography features albums that examine relationships, personal experiences and everyday circumstances, reflecting the artistic direction he has taken with numerous releases.
Promphizy sprang to prominence with his 2023 song “Loyal” and has since been building his career as an independent artist. His consistency, together with an existing fanbase and the emergence of Afrobeats listeners, creates a useful basis for the new track to reach a bigger audience.
