Dzo 729 is a South African artist who is given a special moment on track 13 of his new project. Sama Grootman is one of the 20 songs on the longlist for My Music, which is set to be released in 2026.
Sama Grootman is beautifully placed in the album to add to the larger story told throughout the project. As an album, it’s a complete package of 20 total tracks by the artist, with a planned selection of sequencing.
My Music is framed in a contemporary musical context, and the year of the release, 2026, represents a contemporary moment for the South African rapper. This piece is part of the collection and shows the artist continuing to be inventive.
