Makhadzi Entertainment, a South African Dance Music powerhouse, teams up with Limpopo’s sound wizard Prince Benza on a high-octane, rhythm-rich street song, “Seanamarena” off the Tsotsi EP.
This vibey Lekompo infused heater comes at a time when Southern African dance purists and Bolo house fanatics are yearning for unrelenting club records filled with raw township grittiness. The pair reconvene in the booth, and Prince Benza and Makhadzi drop their undeniable sonic synergy on a banger built for shaking outdoor events, vehicle speakers, and late-night bars.
Behind the boards, the sound architect crafts a scorching, fast-paced canvas, powered by banging four-on-the-floor kicks, snappy percussion rolls, and a pulsing synth bassline. Underneath, bright keyboard loops and strong atmospheric sweeps keep a continual bounce on the dance floor while leaving plenty of headroom throughout the mix.
Makhadzi takes charge of the track with her signature vocal aggression and Prince Benza dishes out rich melodies.
