Nigerian musician, songwriter, and creative genius TY Bello has launched a new album, I Speak Lamb. The 20-track Christian and gospel CD was published on October 10, 2026 via TY Bello Music. This is a 4-hour expansive worship event centered around prayer, surrender, faith, and spiritual reflection.
I Speak Lamb is released alongside its twin project, I Speak Lion, and both albums signify a new creative season for TY Bello. The pair of releases were unveiled in Lagos and Abuja through special listening and worship meetings, where Bello revealed the heart, message, and spiritual direction behind the music.
The album opens with “Ebenezer” by BisiManuel, Tonye Cole, and Theophilus Ogaga before proceeding into songs like “Light My Fire,” “Kilode,” “Tafi,” “Taking My Soul Back,” “Ya Yesu,” “Glory to the Lord,“ “I Only Have Eyes for You,” “Holy Ghost Air,” and “Balogun.” The long tracklist allows the project to breathe and flow between structured songs and longer worshipful moments.
Other famous records include “Speak,” “Nothing Without You,” “Oja,” “Catching Fire,” “Big God,” and the ending track “Shalom.” Many of these tracks are way beyond the limits of the standard radio format, with “Big God” clocking in at approximately 40 minutes and “Shalom” almost 42 minutes. As such, the album feels more like an extended worship experience than the usual pop record.
TY Bello also has a host of colleagues on the project, including Folabi Nuel, Tomi Favored, Godswill Oyor, Toyin Oyemade, Emmanuel Abadi, Ellie Scotte, Esther Longe, Esther Benyeogo, Moses Akoh, Abbey Ojomu, Sinach, and many more. Their contributions bring a communal feel to the CD, while ensuring TY Bello’s unique brand of worship remains the main focus.
TY Bello’s I Speak Lamb is one of her most expansive faith-based projects to date. The album feels less like a collection of songs and more like a long-form spiritual journey, weaving worship, prayer, collaboration, and reflection into a body of work meant to be enjoyed slowly and thoroughly.
