Kenyan musician Bien’s “I’ll Be Okay” is a new partnership with Quality Control. The October 2026 track is a teaser for his next album Alusa Continua.
Bien follows “Finale” with Alikiba on a complex aftermath of a breakup. He sings in English and Swahili, acknowledging lingering memories and remorse, while continuously encouraging himself that he will recover even as moving on is difficult.
The track was produced by BGRZ, Remy Baggins and Bien, with acoustic guitar by Ivano Bass and backing vocals from Bensoul and WuodOmollo. The mid-tempo arrangement provides the singer enough room to convey the doubt underlying his lyrics without overpowering the performance.
Not only is it personal for him, but the release is also a huge career moment, being the first African artist signed to Quality Control. Bien has made his mark as a solo artist following Sauti Sol but now has a bigger platform to showcase his songs to the world while keeping his Kenyan musical identity.
The song may be purchased on all major digital streaming platforms. Please listen to it and share your thoughts in the comments below.
