Deejay Zebra SA drops a fire tune, Base Code, off his 2026 album, The Gqom Code, the album’s tenth track. This song, positioned near the end of the album, is an important part of the album’s story throughout its eleven tracks.
The artist draws on the dynamic music culture in South Africa to create a short yet powerful experience that captures the essence of the record. The positioning of Base Code near the end of the album suggests a planned escalation, beckoning listeners to explore the sound complexities on offer.
This track is part of the rhythm and structure of the album, “The Gqom Code”, anchoring the later stages of the project. The release, scheduled for 2026, adds another chapter to the ever-evolving soundscape of the artistic production of Deejay Zebra SA.
