Deejay Zebra SA releases Violin Gqom, the second song off his 2026 album “The Gqom Code“. This South African project has 11 tracks in total, taking a different musical path in the gqom genre.
Violin Gqom is featured early on in the album, after the intro track, and sets the tone for the rest of the project, which is released as part of a comprehensive collection. The track’s placement is indicative of its significance within the larger framework of the album, “The Gqom Code.”
The tune is slated to drop in 2026 and is rooted in a modern South African sonic framework. With an intentionally chosen sequence of eleven songs, Deejay Zebra SA adds to the ever-changing gqom terrain.
