Ghanaian music sensation and street-hop poet Agbeshie boldly strides into the musical forefront with a snappy, rhythm-heavy new tune called “Ashawo”.
After a string of soul-searching ballads and emotionally charged offerings that showcased his expressive range and fragility, Elvinthedon switches into a brighter musical zone. “I Feel Like” takes emotional regeneration and a growing momentum and turns it into a catchy, feel-good beat that’s meant to fire up everyday routines, weekend cruise sessions and late-night headphone listens alike.
The producer creates a joyful, mid-tempo soundtrack with warm electric guitar plucks, soft atmospheric synthesizer pads and snappy percussion shakers. The steady Afro-pop drum kick glides smoothly over a flowing walking bassline, creating a compelling head-nodding groove that keeps the arrangement going forward without ever seeming cluttered. Elsewhere, the clean sound engineering gives the mix plenty of room to breathe, so every delicate instrumental accent, vocal intonation and layered backing harmonies comes through the speakers with exquisite clarity.
Elvinthedon commands the record with his textured register, disciplined breath control and compelling vocal presence. He manages the patient speed with ease, dripping his lines with true passion and swagger, seamlessly switching between conversational verses, melodic runs and an infectious sing-along chorus right from the opening drop. His clean execution sets an immediate intimate yet uplifting mood that drags listeners right into the pocket of the beat.
“I Feel Like” is all about the songwriting of self-elevation, making positive mental alterations, filtering out superfluous street noise, and savoring the sweet benefits of hard-earned peace of mind with real friends. Elvinthedon sings honestly about trusting his destiny, casting off self-doubt and working with a new confidence in his creative and personal journey. He employs accessible metaphors and smart language to create a universal feel-good song for dreamers and hustlers on the move everyplace, complete with an unforgettable refrain.
Everything is seamlessly connected over this cut for a complete and highly gratifying listening experience. The full runtime balances his expressive vocal stamina step for step with the lively, melody-driven production.
