ZUKO! continues its fire theme with “BY FIRE!”, a 2026 recording by Nigerian Afropop singer Fireboy DML, produced by Reward Beatz.
The phrase is particularly relevant to the album’s persona, which was inspired by the mythological universe of fire and transformation of Prince Zuko. That imagery has made its way into the promotional campaign, and the title itself is a clear reference to the presentation of the project.
Reward Beatz is the producer and this is one of a series of songs where Fireboy collaborates with different producers from a variety of musical backgrounds. This phase of creativity is built around his signature style of Afropop, a blend of melodious music and modern R&B influences.
The artist has been building a recognizable character outside of his early love songs in recent years. With four studio albums under his belt and a worldwide fanbase, he’s free to pursue bigger creative ideas, while yet preserving the songwriting qualities that attracted him to his audience.
The single is out on all major digital streaming platforms. Listen and let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
