“FIGHTING” is the last song on ZUKO!, which is the fifth studio album from Nigerian artist Fireboy DML. It was released in October 2026 and produced by Ramii.
The title suggests a spirit of rebellion and determination, which is related to the album’s inspiration by Prince Zuko, a fictional character known for his internal struggles and change. Fireboy has also spoken about the self-awareness and readiness to adapt that has characterized his recent creative period.
Ramii is in production, adding to a recording that completes the 13 song project. His contribution maintains the album’s blend of contemporary Afropop lyrics and contributions from various producers, allowing Fireboy to tread the musical path marked out for this project.
Fireboy has advanced considerably since his breakout in 2019, growing from national recognition to international fame as a music artist. The fifth studio album is another step in that progression and the final choice hammers home the project’s larger statement on change and personal identity.
The track is accessible on all major digital streaming platforms. Listen and tell me what you think in the comments below.
