Nigerian artists Fireboy DML and Lojay who teamed up for “letting go” earlier this year, are back together on “GODDESS” off the 2026 album ZUKO!.
Their previous song dropped on adedamola where Fireboy talked about the struggles of relationships and the acceptance of separation. The reestablished cooperation offers another opportunity for the singer to engage with a familiar partner, whose contribution is part of the new record.
Black Culture is acknowledged as a producer and the track continues Fireboy’s engagement in modern Afropop and R&B. The pair of singers have built up a reputation for their passionate melodic songwriting, which gives their second album cooperation a shared musical base.
They have already collaborated on a well-received production and Fireboy now takes that creative collaboration into another stage of his career. The reunion should be interesting to those familiar with his previous work, especially those who love the relationship-oriented songwriting that helped build his name.
The track is accessible on all the main digital streaming platforms. Check out the collab and tell us what you think in the comments below.
