South African music producer Funky QLA, Thukuthela, Babalwa M, and GL_Ceejay come together for a soulful Amapiano groove titled “iXesha.”
The new collaboration comes as fans of electronic dance and Amapiano aficionados are yearning for catchy anthems that mix heavy groove with real emotion. “Organic partnerships with vivid township culture and stellar vocal performances always do the genre good. So these talented South African artists join together to compose a tune for the dancing mob and the casual listener.
Knockin’ kick drums, snappy percussion shakers, and a rolling sub-bassline power the joyous mid-tempo soundscape crafted by the sound builder. There’s a steady bounce, enough freedom to breathe through the mix, the piano chords reverberating and sliding gently under the groove.
Babalwa M leads the track with her passionate, calming voice, supported by the team’s powerful street tempo.
