Recording artist GESTON is getting a second look with his 2026 single “Flute Amapiano,” which is already gaining major traction across multiple African countries.
The release remains faithful to its essence, with the concept being amapiano-driven, not a featured performer or vocal duet, with the flute being the defining melodic element. The record’s clean lane from the start is that simple technique
The melody is short, under two minutes, and that fits the dance-oriented approach. The form is quite short, to keep the musical idea moving quickly, favoring immediacy over an extended arrangement.
Early chart action for GESTON shows considerable listener interest already. The record peaked at about the Top 15 in Nigeria’s Shazam list, and also charted in the Top 10 in Zambia, gaining traction in Mozambique, a sign of how its discovery is spreading beyond one region.
The single is released now on all major digital streaming services. Give a listen and let us know your thoughts on GESTON’s expanding record in the comments.
