Nigerian music singer Islambo teams up with popular record producer Magicsticks on a new joint project, MERAKI EP. The four-track project brings both artists back together and features the songs “DELULU,” “INFORMAL,” “LAGOS PARTY,” and “NEVER FOLD.”
MERAKI is the collaboration between Nigeria’s street-influenced music artist Islambo and producer Magicsticks, who is noted for his modern Afrobeats work. The album was released on October 30, 2026. The project offers listeners four songs to discover, with the two creatives integrating their talents into one release.
Islambo has continued to build his musical identity with a style linked with lively rhythms, street expressions, and his Lamba-inspired kind of Afrobeats. The rapper and Magicsticks have collaborated in the past on tracks like “Wire Check” and “AfroBTC,” so there’s already an established artistic relationship between the two musicians.
With MERAKI, the link becomes the focus of a dedicated EP. This four-song tracklist is a short format that allows the listener to investigate each record without having to commit to a long album. The song titles also offer varied concepts, from the fun expression of “DELULU” to the joyous mood suggested by “LAGOS PARTY” and the resolute message linked with “NEVER FOLD.”
Fans of Islambo, followers of Magicsticks’ producing work, and listeners interested in modern Nigerian music should add the new collaboration release MERAKI EP to their playlists.
