Nigerian singer and producer King Soundboi collaborates with the governor’s violinist for “Gosholor,” one of two tracks released alongside “CashOut.”
The collaboration gives the Governor’s Violinist a starring role, while “CashOut” features Ruhdee on the companion release. The pairing allows King Soundboi to collaborate with diverse guests across the two songs without repeating the same technique.
Production was by King Soundboi, also known as Soundboi Beatz, while Antonio Violin is credited with the violin. That combination really locks the production and live-instrument elements into the song’s arrangement.
The release joins a repertoire that includes “Je!”, “Tinuke,” and “Alimama,” while keeping King Soundboi busy both behind the production and as a frontman on his own songs.
