Gospel Minister and anointed worship leader Joshua Israel of Nigeria strides into the spiritual forefront with a truly emotional, praise-filled new record titled “MY PRAISE.”
This passionate devotional release is timely, as gospel music lovers, worship leaders and everyday believers are looking for authentic, message-driven songs that inspire reverence, appreciation and unshakable pleasure. Commercial beats continue to dominate the mainstream radios, but songs of pure thankfulness, spiritual renewal and passionate praise always maintain a holy place in the hearts of listeners. Joshua Israel meets this spiritual thirst with a soul-stirring offering that is meant to lift up the tired, rekindle personal devotion and take listeners right into the atmosphere of worship.
The sound architect creates a pleasant mid-tempo environment, rounded out with delicate electric piano progressions, subtle acoustic guitar plucks and snappy percussion shakers. A steady, delicate drum kick rolls nicely beneath a flowing, resonant bassline, keeping the movement swinging with a reassuring bounce without breaking the quiet, reflective atmosphere. Meanwhile, the clean sound engineering keeps the mix clean and expansive, so every soaring vocal line, powerful octave shift and layered backing harmony hits with exquisite clarity.
Joshua Israel starts the proceedings with his trademark rich register, easy pitch control and truly sincere vocal presence. He rides the slow tempo like it’s nothing and adds real conviction and reverence to his delivery, shifting seamlessly between reflective, meditative verses and a triumphant, sing-along chorus from the very first drop. His expressive vocal delivery creates an intimate sanctuary that immediately draws listeners into the heartbeat of his message.
The songwriting of “MY PRAISE” is strongly focused on absolute thanksgiving, divine faithfulness, acknowledging God’s hand throughout life’s journey and choosing praise in every season. Singing openly about the fact that human strength is not enough without grace, he makes personal worship an inspiring, universally consoling anthem for believers and dreamers as they struggle through the challenges of life. With approachable wording and powerful refrains, the song is a genuine expression of absolute surrender and delight.
Everything flows perfectly over this release for a full and genuinely gratifying listening experience. The bright, soul-lifting production is a perfect match for his intense vocal stamina throughout.
