Musically, the combination brings together two diverse backgrounds in current African music. NO11 has founded his repertoire on rap-influenced Afrobeats, while Gabzy has made a name for himself with melodic R&B and Afropop, making the pairing an interesting one.
His work with Davido on “Gimme Dat Ting” and “HOW FAR” has gained NO11 significant notoriety. Partnering with Gabzy is another opportunity to expand on that momentum and engage with an audience already familiar with the British-Nigerian singer’s catalog.
