Nigerian musician Portable releases a new street-pop single titled “Gbona”. The new single was released via Zeh Nation in October 2026. “Gbona” is the latest release from Portable in 2023.
It follows “Shenk Balance” which he has recently added to his collection. Portable keeps his outspoken musical identity that has marked his career, connecting with his audience through the use of recognizable street idioms and an explosive performance approach.
The album is grounded in contemporary Nigerian street-pop and showcases the Afrobeats influences that have impacted much of his music. His vocal style, frequently marked by powerful delivery and conversational phrasing, is a significant part of his artistic identity.
Meanwhile, Portable has been consistently dropping songs throughout 2026, making sure that his music is still circulating even outside of the attention he gets from public engagements. The new tune has already found a following among street-pop listeners who are accustomed to his unusual approach to music.
“Gbona” is accessible on all major digital streaming platforms. Give it a listen and let us know what you think in the comments below.
