After teasing its refrain for weeks, Kwara-born Nigerian artist Ruhdee brings “Double Am” into his busy 2026 catalogue as a new solo release with a clear dance-facing direction.

Ruhdee’s rollout has leaned on lines about doubling up, moving quickly and keeping the energy high, with Yoruba and Nigerian Pidgin shaping the writing. The single follows “Hope,” which arrived in August as his previous solo release.

The previewed sections favour repetition and short, memorable phrases, allowing the central refrain to function as the song’s rhythmic anchor. Ruhdee keeps his delivery loose and direct, matching the movement he has consistently pushed in the record’s teasers.

His catalogue has grown considerably since “Omo Ologo Dia” with Seyi Vibez introduced him to a wider audience. A more immediate, dance-oriented record gives him another route to build on that recognition while keeping his street-pop identity intact.
