Addicted is the latest track by Nigerian artist Shine TTW, released in September, following the success of his previous hit UDE and continuing his 2026 run.
The record continues Shine TTW in the melodic region that has been key to his work with the vocal performance carrying the song rather than having a featured artist. It caps a year in which he has been expanding on the audience garnered through his recent works.
His self-described Afro-Sentio approach still rings true here, relying on Afrobeats, R&B and pop but maintaining passion and melody at the front of the presentation. The arrangement allows plenty of leeway to let his wording stay front and center.
Since then, Shine TTW has slowly built up his catalog beyond early singles like “No Religion,” and appearances with bands including Bien and Adekunle Gold have brought him to wider audiences. Nor is this newest installment.
It’s available on all the big digital streaming services. Listen to it and let me know what you think in the comments.
