Nigerian rapper TUFF KING’s nine-track 2026 album BLACK SHEEPIZEN (THE 13th DISCIPLE) includes “Treacherous Cadet” as the fifth track.
The song takes a combative turn, with TUFF KING speaking to disobedience, failed expectations and those he would prefer eliminate from his circle. The album came after “Nkemakonam,” the first song to debut the project prior to its complete release.
The arrangement is fed by an R&B sample, with darker piano chords undergirding his methodical rap delivery. He doesn’t hurry through the record, letting individual words register, particularly as the writing gets more strong around the repeated hook.
Months after the album’s release, “Treacherous Cadet” has continued to garner attention, lately climbing into the high part of the Nigerian Shazam chart. That new action provides the track with another way for listeners to discover his larger collection.
The record is out on all major digital music outlets for streaming. Have a look and tell us what you think in the comments below.
