“Happy Day” is a collaborative track from three Nigerian music talents, fronted by singer and composer Runda alongside rapper Evado and Afropop singer Bad Boy Timz, taken from the 2026 EP Okafor’s Law.
The partnership brings distinct musical backgrounds to Runda’s work. Evado adds his indigenous Nigerian rap background while Bad Boy Timz is known for his melodious Afropop approach. Their involvement enables the primary artist to connect with listeners from other areas of the Nigerian music scene.
Dawie produced the recording, which is about three minutes long, making it the longest track on the six-song compilation. It’s also one of only two collaborations on the EP with three artists credited on one recording.
Runda is slowly but surely winning fans with prior releases such as his debut album Behind Closed Doors. Matching it with two established artists could give the track some extra momentum, particularly among those who are tuned in to modern Afrobeats and Nigerian rap.
