“Cry On You” was first featured on the 2026 EP Small Chops and now receives a new collaborative version from Nigerian-born singer and producer Mannywellz, featuring British-Nigerian R&B musician Odeal.
The release comes after a string of tracks including “But You Did” and “Still on the Throne,” as Evelyndidit continues to build out a library that also includes inspirational and Christian music. This latest recording has not a little intrigue among listeners, coming as it does so recently.
The music is about three minutes long and opts for a compact style that fits with modern Afro-pop releases. The tape is short enough to be listened to casually, and its rising popularity indicates that people are returning to it.
Notably, the track landed on Shazam Charts in Nigeria, Ghana, Uganda, and a number of other regions within days of its release. The addition to the list of the most discovered songs in Nigeria and a good performance in Ghana is a welcome development for the increasing presence of Evelyndidit in the music world.
