“Cry On You” was first featured on the 2026 EP Small Chops and now receives a new collaborative version from Nigerian-born singer and producer Mannywellz, featuring British-Nigerian R&B musician Odeal.
The remake, released 23 October 2026, explores emotional support, love, and vulnerability in relationships. Mannywellz assures a loved one that he would be there to console her in times of hardship, and Odeal provides yet another vocal viewpoint that further amplifies the song’s intimate message.
Mannywellz wrote and produced the song, which fuses contemporary R&B and soul and features lyrics in English, Yoruba, and Nigerian Pidgin. The arrangement lays a lot of emphasis on the vocal expressions of the performers, allowing the personal aspect of the songwriting to be at the forefront.
The cooperation also marks the continued progress of Mannywellz from his previous releases. This new recording has an established listener base, since he has an international audience for his soulful approach to music with over 100 million career streams.
The song is available now on all major digital streaming platforms. Please have a listen and share your thoughts in the comments below.
