Produced by Aykbeats, “Asiko” is an October 2026 song from Nigerian rapper and vocalist Fimi, pursuing a joyous Afropop path focused upon happiness and personal advancement.
The Yoruba title translates to “time” or “season,” fitting the song’s emphasis on enjoying life and celebrating successes. Fimi is about the thrill of nightlife and cozy living, a satisfaction that comes from having reasons to appreciate the moment.
Aykbeats mixes traditional African drumming with big bass lines and lyrical hooks for a steady, danceable groove. Fimi maintains a smooth vocal technique, enabling the rhythm and repeated melodies to reinforce the song’s joyful mood.
Having established herself through rap-focused singles like as “Nasty” and her 2025 album Fimí With The Flow, Fimi keeps exploring new elements of her musical ability.
