Tahitian roots reggae collective Reggae Tahiti drops a very sensitive and inspiring studio project called “Remember Who We Are.”
This soul-stirring body of work comes at just the right time for island reggae aficionados in search of organic, message-driven collections that connect indigenous Polynesian spirit with classic Jamaican roots beats. Reggae Tahiti is gaining international recognition in the reggae world for its warm acoustic compositions, beautiful vocal harmonies, and attention to cultural preservation. Throughout this sprawling record, the group invites us to rediscover our ancient identity, our inner dignity, and our shared humanity.
Behind the boards, sound architects craft a warm, organic roots reggae environment, fueled by skanking rhythm guitars, resonant Hammond organs, and snappy percussion shakers. Deep walking bassline with constant one-drop drum kicks, making for a head-nodding groove.
The vocalists take the track list by storm, soulful delivery and inspiring refrains.
“Remember Who We Are” is out now on all digital music outlets!
