Teaming up with Bella Shmurda in September, Nigerian artist and rapper SAMAD kicks off his 2026 releases with “Time,” an Afrobeats single, out on 23 October on Samad Music Worldwide.

The track comes after “Lagos,” which began another collaborative chapter in his career. SAMAD is back in the spotlight after a year that saw him record with Zlatan and other Nigerian acts and release music independently.

Labeled Afrobeats, the new track continues his position in the modern Nigerian music scene. His composition technique is well established, blending Yoruba, Nigerian Pidgin, and English, and his performances swing between melodic singing and rap-influenced vocalizations.

His fame with “Lameda” and “Tomorrow (GRAMMY)” has already bolstered SAMAD’s ever-growing platform, particularly with fans of his honest stories about ambition and everyday hardships. With that recognition and his recent collaborations under his belt, the singer has a growing platform for his latest release.

The single is out on all major digital streaming platforms. Listen and tell me what you think in the comments below
