Nigerian music producer and recording artist Larry Gaaga drops “GAGA” starring Nigerian Afropop singer Peruzzi. Another collaboration named “OFF WHITE” is dropping alongside.
The two-song release marks the musicians’ reunion since “Pause.” Featured in the vocal role is Peruzzi, continuing a connection that has seen multiple recordings at different points in Larry Gaaga’s career.
Both songs have the same voice as the main focus of the collaboration, and Larry Gaaga gets to build two different records around Peruzzi’s contribution. This scheme fits well with his tendency to work closely with guest artists rather than having a permanent vocal line-up.
Apart from the current album, Larry Gaaga has earned much attention for his work with big Nigerian performers and on movie soundtracks. His skill of organizing successful collaborations could help “GAGA” reach out to listeners already familiar with his repertoire.
The track is accessible on all major digital streaming platforms. Watch “OFF WHITE” and tell us in the comments below which of the two you like best.
