Upcoming Bongo Flava musician D Voice has teamed up with Tanzanian singer Ibraah on “Nimeacha.” The song was released on October 16, 2026. The song is about making the hard decision to break away from toxic relationships and people that provide disappointment rather than serenity.
The Swahili title “Nimeacha” means “I Have Quit” or “I Have Left It Alone,” a message of release, of going forward. With this theme, Ibraah and D Voice talk about betrayal, shattered trust and when it is time to leave some things behind.
The song encourages listeners to safeguard their peace and stay away from people who are ungrateful or unreliable rather than clinging on to relationships that no longer seem to be worth it. The music is a modern Bongo Flava beat and the message is about personal choices and the consequences of misguided trust.
“Nimeacha” is track 13 on Ibraah’s vast 50-track studio album, 1B: The Other Side of the Dime. Another addition to the project is the collaboration with D Voice, who joins forces with two Tanzanian singers on a song about knowing when to move on.
