UK rap meets Nigerian Afrobeats on “Bring You Flowers,” a collaboration by British DJ and music pioneer DJ Target that features Grime rapper Chip and Nigerian superstar Tiwa Savage. The record, released on October 15, 2026, reworks the sound of Sweet Female Attitude’s famous UK Garage hit “Flowers” with a contemporary approach.
The track uses the nostalgic appeal of early UK garage with strong bass and current log drums. Tiwa Savage brings the catchy melody with a confident vocal performance while Chip provides a fast-paced rap verse that suits the track’s cross-genre direction.
“Bring You Flowers” is also an exciting milestone for DJ Target, as it represents his first official solo single, following years of involvement in the UK music industry—including his association with Roll Deep and Pay As U Go Cartel. This comes ahead of his debut solo studio album, due out in 2027.
The release is accompanied by an official music video by AN Films, shot at Dahalia Beach, which offers a visual counterpoint to the marriage of British club sounds with Afrobeats elements.
DJ Target is on the decks, with Chip and Tiwa Savage guesting on “Bring You Flowers,” tying together distinct eras of UK dance music with modern African pop.
