UK radio icon DJ Target has teamed up with Nigerian music queen Tiwa Savage and veteran British rapper Chip to deliver an appealing cross-continental ballad, “Bring You Flowers.”
The bright single lands at a time when worldwide music fans are hungry for upbeat records that blend the swagger of London rap with the sweet appeal of Afrobeats.
The sound architect creates a joyful, mid-tempo environment powered by warm keyboard progressions, delicate guitar plucks and snappy percussion shakers. A steady drum kick rolls over a fluid bassline, holding the groove swinging fluidly without overwhelming the mix.
Tiwa Savage grabs the microphone in her distinctive silky tone, delivering a heartfelt sing-along chorus loaded with unadulterated adoration. Chip comes into the booth with razor-cutting flows and smart wordplay that take the track’s vivid energy to the next level.
The songs are about love, loyalty, and good friends. It is an exciting listen.
