Riding on the waves of his Afro-Kalangu releases, Kaduna-based Nigerian rapper EmTeey Shmurda joins forces with Danmusa New Prince for “Ranar Aure”. The new single drops on 25 September 2026.
EmTeey Shmurda’s new single “Yanga” leads to marriage as he states he would like to find a wife and establish a life of love together. Danmusa New Prince is a no-brainer for the topic especially considering his own recent output surrounding Hausa wedding music.
The record was produced by Echobeats with mixing and mastering by BeatSmithX. It fits well with the Hausa vocal performances and puts the romantic message at the center without detracting from the two singers.
The partnership further solidifies EmTeey Shmurda’s position in the modern music landscape of Northern Nigeria, where his Afro-Kalangu style blends Arewa influences with wider Afropop concepts.
