The album, dubbed The Last Wun, features a cross-continental collaboration between American rap star Gunna and Nigerian hitmaker Asake on the track “Satisfaction.” The tune dropped August 8, 2025, on 300 Entertainment and blends melodic hip-hop and modern Afrobeats for a smooth, polished sound.
TURBO, Aviator Keyyz, and Yung Talent produce the record, creating a laid-back hip-hop framework for both musicians to exhibit their distinct personalities. Gunna sticks to his famous melodic rhyming style, and Asake adds his own distinctive vocals to the partnership that brings a Nigerian Afrobeats flavor.
The pairing forms a nexus of two musicians whose sounds have found audiences well beyond their markets. There’s no cluttered arrangement to obscure the performers on “Satisfaction,” and the contrast between Gunna’s lyrical style and Asake’s vocal character is what propels the song.
The single is from The Last Wun and lends an international flavor to Gunna’s album, connecting American hip-hop with the expanding worldwide reach of Afrobeats. Its sleek production and blending of influences make it a worthy collaboration for fans of either artist’s discography.
