Tanzanian music sensations Mbosso & Harmonize join forces for Bongo Flava collaboration “Kamata II,” out October 23, 2026. The song is a follow-up to Mbosso’s previous solo hit, “Kamata,” with Harmonize joining in with his vocals in the frenetic follow-up.
“Kamata II” investigates the intersection of modern relationships, financial stability, and ambition. The song’s amusing lyrics impart a useful lesson about the significance of planning for the future, implying that fame and fortune are not enough to guarantee a pleasant existence or the continuation of a loving relationship. The Swahili phrase “Kamata pesa kwanza, umaarufu pekee hautoshi” underlines the song’s emphasis on earning money and establishing a strong base before seeking popularity.
Mbosso and Harmonize add their own vocal styles to the record, giving the duet a sprightly Bongo Flava character. The sequel expands upon the premise of “Kamata” and elaborates it in a joint performance that combines music with relatable remarks on ordinary life and love.
The song is also accompanied by an official music video, allowing listeners to eits fun presentation song in visual format. Both musicians continue to engage listeners with music that draws on modern Tanzanian sounds and recognized societal issues.
