South African singer Umhlekisi releases Usbali as the fifth track on the project A Pledge. The song is one of six in the collection that represents the artist’s latest musical direction, and it was released in 2026.
Further down the list of the project, Usbali adds to the broader narrative started by the previous songs. Positioned as the fifth of six tracks, it proposes itself as a form of controlling the flow and thematic progression of the album.
Umhlekisi 2026 will be a promise for the entire body of work. The tracks, including “Usbali,” are a vital part of the album’s composition and are indicative of the artist’s creative production throughout that time period.
