ZUKO!, Nigerian singer Fireboy DML’s fifth studio album, is released on 16 October 2026 through YBNL Nation and EMPIRE. The album’s title is a moniker that people have previously used to insult him.
Due for release on Friday (October 27), Fireboy has described the project as a reflection of growing self-awareness and his drive to make important changes in his life. The 13-track album also has features from Judah Earl, Masicka, Lojay, JAZZWRLD, and Thukuthela, adding in various musical influences but still keeping his uniqueness as a singer and songwriter.
Produced by Ramii, Reward Beatz, Yung Willis, Nxrth, and Dot Da Genius. In the meantime, his earlier collaborations delved into varied musical genres, ranging from Jamaican dancehall to the South African 3-step rhythms, highlighting his readiness to explore outside the typical Afrobeats.
After his highly personal 2024 album, Agedamola, Fireboy enters this new chapter with a different perspective on identity, evolution, and artistic expression. He has built an international fanbase with his acclaimed albums and songs and continues to explore new sounds without compromising the melodic songwriting that helped build his reputation.
The album is available on all major digital streaming services. Check out the complete project and leave your favorite cuts in the comments below.
