Nigerian rapper Davolee has released a new track, “Festival Of Barz ll”, on 14 October 2026, through Davolee Music Records, the return of a famous rap series.
After his EP MAJA in July, Davolee returns to the musical identity that built his reputation for precise storytelling and poetic expressiveness. The EP is reminiscent of his earlier Festival Bar records, which detailed personal problems and street life and his journey to becoming a well-established rapper.
The new offering produced by Jordan is a hip-hop track, a genre where Davolee has continued to show his prowess in Yoruba, English and Nigerian Pidgin. His penchant for long lines, brilliant wordplay and conversational narrative provides this latest instalment a familiar artistic base.
Interestingly, the Festival Bar series is still a huge part of his career, as it introduced many people to his ability to adapt real-life occurrences into fascinating rap tales. That heritage, revisited, reawakens the curiosity of lifelong followers while exposing yet another side of his craft to newer audiences.
The track is accessible on all major digital streaming platforms. Listen and tell me what you think in the comments below.
