Gbemilo is one of two songs on Anthem, the October 2026 effort from Nigerian street-hop performer Danny S’, released alongside Oloun.

“Low Key” was his last single and this latest song is the latest in a busy spell for Danny S, who has dropped both standalone singles and full-length projects throughout his recent output. The continual usage of Yoruba is a reflection of the indigenous influences that have impacted his songs throughout his career.

His musical foundation is built on Afrobeats, Fuji and street-hop, and his vocal delivery is integral to his identity in Nigerian music. These genres have been the mainstay of his work as he continues to build his catalog.

Danny S dropped the 12-track album Merci earlier in 2026, after almost 10 years in the music industry. He has a good rapport with street-hop listeners from way back, so the latest two-song EP can build upon and reach those who know his earlier cuts.

The song is available now on all major digital streaming services. Please have a listen and share your thoughts in the comments below.
