Released October 2026, with fellow hip-hop musician Hugo P.
Following up on her prior hit “Gods Timing,” Paragon continues to talk about ambition, financial troubles, and her dependence on God. She talks about growing up in Nsukka, the pressure to succeed, and how people’s attitude shifts when you succeed. Hugo P shares a passage on endurance, answered prayers, and being careful of betrayal.
Paragon’s aggressive rap delivery carries much of the narration on the recording, which mixes English, Nigerian Pidgin, and Igbo. The lines are tied together by a repeating chorus about trusting in God, which gives the song a constant message throughout.
The release is made all the more personal by the mention of her childhood and ambition to overcome poverty by Paragon. These experiences confirm the storytelling identity she formed through her 2025 project Daughter of Edith and add another collaboration to her expanding indigenous hip-hop repertoire.
The song is accessible on all major digital streaming platforms. Listen to the collab and tell me what you think in the comments below.
