Nigerian disk jockey and sound arranger DJ Chidez lands with an uplifting, spirit-filled gospel-fusion single titled “Ifunanya Jesus.”
This soul-stirring CD comes at the appropriate time when music lovers are yearning for message-driven choruses that combine faith with danceable African rhythms. The song translates from the Igbo as “Love of Jesus” and provides a pleasant sanctuary, glorifying divine mercy, unconditional love, and spiritual preservation through the challenges of life.
Behind the boards, the sound architect is crafting a bright, mid-tempo atmosphere based on delicate guitar plucks, snappy percussion shakers, and a steady Afro-gospel drum bounce. The audio engineering is spacious, with plenty of headroom to let the lovely melody progressions and rich choral harmonies glide cleanly over the mix.
From the very beginning, DJ Chidez guides the arrangement with seasoned precision, adding sincere Igbo-English praise chants that lift the listener’s spirit.
