Phyno, a heavyweight in the indigenous rap scene and the boss of Penthauze, teams up with vocal powerhouse Oxlade for an irresistible, melody-rich collaboration named “Magret.” This track is featured on his acclaimed studio effort, Let That Sink In (LTSI).

The colorful link-up arrives at a time when today’s listeners and Afro-fusion lovers are craving clean tracks that pair crisp rap cadences with beautiful and expressive Afropop tunes. Phyno’s street power meets Oxlade’s recognizable falsetto, creating an obvious creative spark perfect for late-night drives and romantic playlists alike.

Backstage, the sound architect crafts a joyful, mid-tempo atmosphere underpinned by delicate guitar riffs, snappy percussion shakers, and a rolling, fluid bassline. Generous sound engineering means every vocal run and rap bar cuts through with stunning clarity.

Phyno drives the tune with his typical raspy Igbo-English flow, dropping charismatic phrases with ease. Oxlade drives the action, weaving soaring harmonies and an appealing hook that is centered on romantic passion and feminine charm.
